The IBS standard type elements consist of columns and floor pads. All types of non-carrying light or heavy weight walls can be applied to the rigid IBS structure as outer walls or partition walls. Various types of roof systems can be used to cover the heavy top ceiling pads. The live load bearing capacity of the floor space is in excess of 100 lbs./ft². The open span between two columns of the standard frame structure is in excess of 23 ft. Bigger open span is possible under certain conditions.
