On November 5, 1999 the Colver Power Project has been awarded the
Pennsylvania Resources Council 60th Anniversary Award
for sustaining the environment in the business sector.
  
This prestigious award is bestowed once in a decade to one
     Government institution, one Non-Profit organization, one environmental group and one business entity.
The Colver Project is proud to have been chosen as the business entity to receive this prestigious award.

Since commencement of commercial operation in 1994, 

the Colver Project 

has earned numerous prestigious awards. Among them we are also happy to mention:

November, 1999 : The Pennsylvania Resource Council 60th Anniversary Award, in the business sector, for sustaining the environment

December 1998 :  "1998 Facility of the Year" by Environmental Protection Magazine

October 7, 1997 : The 1997 Pennsylvania Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence 

May 1997 : The Three Rivers Environmental Award for Business Stewardship

December, 1996 : Power Magazine's 1996 Powerplant Award, and
